On 7 October Professor Elspeth Garman appeared on “The Life Scientific” to talk about her work on X-ray crystallography, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The show provides an insight into her childhood and academic life, as well as the fascinating techniques used in crystallography. Jonny Brooks-Bartlett, one of our third year Systems Biology students, also pops up to talk about working with Elspeth and the intricacies involved with crystallography.
